One by one, the corrupted Gems emerge from the bubbles healed from corruption. The Diamonds bathing in the fountain enhances its healing capabilites to undo corruption, giving the water shades of yellow, blue and white. The Crystal Gems take all the bubbled gems from the Burning Room in the Crystal Temple to the fountain with the Great Diamond Authority, in order to heal the corrupted Gems. Sapphire warps to the fountain, while Pearl and Steven follow her and the former explains the story of Pink Diamond to the other two. Steven was not able to find anything in the fountain that the key could unlock.Īfter Garnet learns of Rose's original identity as Pink Diamond, the anger causes her to split up. Rose's Fountain appeared for a brief time in "Lion 4: Alternate Ending" when Steven was searching for something the mysterious pink key he received from Lion unlocks. As Steven and Amethyst fled from the attacking plants, Garnet and Pearl found the clog that was stopping the flow of tears to the fountain and removed it. Garnet was able to make a path through the bramble using brute force, only to find the fountain dry. However, when they arrived, they found the fountain covered in brambles. The tears pour from the statue's eyes into the large pool below.Īfter the fountain begins flowing again, the brambles bloom into pink roses, leaving the garden open-aired, and roses flutter down, blanketing both fountain and garden.Īfter Amethyst accidentally cracked her gemstone from a fall off the Lighthouse cliff, Steven, Garnet, and Pearl took her to the fountain to repair the crack and heal her. 
Four life-sized Rose statues surround the central sculpture, and the fountain is filled with Rose's light pink healing tears. The fountain itself is located in the middle of a garden, and a giant stone statue of Rose Quartz stands at its center on a star-shaped pedestal. Rose's Fountain, while left untended, is enclosed in a dome-like structure of brambles. Pearl described the fountain as "Rose's most precious sanctuary".
